Player Stats: Cod2

Is it possible to have player stats again, from the CoD2 server?

This is a big draw to keep players coming back, and it would help us identify hackers even when we are not on the server to see them.

When I first went onto our new server, it downloaded some filethingy that showed up the messages in the game-text - is that what you're talking about?

A lot of people don't have auto-downloads on, so maybe they just try another server when it tells them they don't have the file...

We may have got the file from the german server. Exclamation

Ignore that, Just checked downloads are on.

Hmm i rember i had to dl someting when i first entered the storm server. I let i download, but it's not ideal. if i have to donwload something from a different server i would disconnect, cause ya never knwo what it is you're downloading.

If it is that that's causing the problem, maybe we could get rid of it? I know server messages are important, but not if there's no-one around to read them.

Perhaps turn off the thing that requires the file download, and see if it makes a difference? Last night there were eight or even ten of us on at one point - all (ST), apart from Andy and someone else from that =|GER|= clan - the guys that always used to play our CoD:UO server. So even though the the server was showing up as 10/24 in the browsers, people were not joining...

the dl should be removed now. But, as I said last night, maybe we should be nicer to peopled - they seem to diconnect after having been raped by us,,,
